Sunday Around the Kitchen Table

It’s Sunday already, foodie friends. You know what that means.  Time to meet in the kitchen and talk about what’s been going on lately!

Summer hasn’t really slowed down for me, thanks to all of you who are visiting me at the markets (it was great to see you Mary Ann and Lisa!)  as well as ordering cakes for special occasions.

Recently I had the honor of baking a 25th anniversary cake for a couple from church. I’m so glad they liked my “vision” as it’s not your typical anniversary cake.  I've included their kind words (shared via LinkedIn)

"From Gina's Kitchen created the most beautiful and delicious wedding anniversary cake my wife and I ever had the pleasure of sharing with our family and friends! Vanilla buttercream with detailed roses and fondant that I'm still thinking about days later!"  Vic Rossi, happy kitchen guest : )

Always a pleasure working with folks to make their occasion even more special with a custom cake.  A bonus is when they take the time to share feedback with me and share via social media.  You can see all comments and reviews when you follow me :

Speaking of social media, you may have already seen this adorable cake in a few posts:

I was SO EXCITED to share it. Well, honestly I wanted to keep this cake for myself because I just fell in love with how cute Pikachu turned out!  I did give it to the birthday girl who requested it, and her entire family loved it. Thank you, Custer family for personally thanking me at the Thursday market!  Made my day to see you!

Well, that's a lot of cake in the kitchen for one visit.  Check back again next week for another special cake creation.

In the meantime, log off, hang up/hang out... in YOUR kitchen.

Have a blessed week, foodie friends!
